The NAACP in Montclair is working with other local groups to organize a Common Unity Walk.
This is a kick-off for a series of Common Unity Conversations.
The GOAL is to bring community members together to:
- foster a deeper understanding of our shared identity as a Montclair community
- acknowledge our similarities
- come together around common issues and interests
- embrace and celebrate our differences with our children being our focal centerpiece
Walk Route:
The walk will begin at the Montclair Public Library, 50 S. Fullerton Ave, go up Park Street and conclude at Montclair High School on Chestnut St, where we'll join the Race Amity Unity celebration.
